DALLAS, DECEMBER 20, 2016 – In its first year as a spin-off, FTI Belman, LLC has emerged in the market place delivering strong operating results and successful execution of its growth strategy reinforcing its position as a national leader in telecom network deployment services and solutions.
Co-owners Angela Bell, President; Jose Cantabrana, Chief Operations Officer; and Ingrid Landman, Chief Financial Officer have deftly navigated a complex year permanently capitalizing on their namesake’s status achieving solid position with their own bragging rights. “Once we transitioned to FTI Belman, we reaffirmed our solid foundation with a positive ability to be strong partners to those already receiving and those seeking our services.” said Angela Bell.
Cynthia Villarreal, Senior Project Manager at Nokia has been working with FTI since 2011 on RNC, BSC, Megamon, and MegaPlexers server install and commission services. “Any project that comes along, I always consider FTI as my #1 Vendor for two main reasons,” acknowledged Ms. Villarreal. “They come highly recommended within my own internal department and T-Mobile® asks for them by name. I continue to have an excellent experience as they carried on through the transition.”
FTI Belman fortified its installation service relationships with OEMs like Alpha Technologies and FzSoNick; and General Contractors such as Burr Computer Environments, Inc. (BCEI), exp US Services, Inc. (EXP), and XEC. In addition, they also assisted with several major-market Central Office expansions and renovations acting as the primary design engineering firm for the common systems.
In 2016 the FTI DC Power department saw continued expansion successfully completing numerous DC Power system upgrades at facilities for customers such as Windstream, CenturyLink®, T-Mobile®, Charter Spectrum® and Comcast®.
“It’s been a tremendous year of growth for FTI Belman,” said Ingrid Landman, Chief Financial Officer. “We invested this last year in reassuring our existing customer base of our commitment to the future with them as our partners; while also attracting new business opportunities along the way.”
That focus paid off when FTI Belman secured Avetta Certification by undergoing an exhausting internal safety process dedicated to their commitment to environmental protection and occupational safety. Avetta is well known for its SaaS-based solution that contributes to the prevention of accidents and reduction of adverse effects that result from normal operating conditions.
While the telecom industry continues to evolve at a rapid rate, FTI Belman seized the opportunity to leverage increasing capabilities with detailed drafting services. Conceived by a deep passion to deliver the best possible experience for customers, Jose Cantabrana, Chief Operations Officer, unlocked the door to this value added service. Working alongside with T-Mobile® this year FTI Belman is not only maintaining their customer’s floor plans in 2D but also updating their 3D layouts using a new drawing tool.
“This year the Engineering department has expanded in workforce and business opportunities,” remarked Jose Cantabrana. “We managed to increase our services and include DC power audits as part of our surveys. Next year is looking very promising as we already have several projects in the works.”
